In 2006, inspired by the power of positive media, I self-published an award-winning book entitled 'Waking Up the West Coast: Healers and Visionaries', profiling some of British Columbia's most dynamic movers and shakers in the fields of sustainability, advocacy and health. The goal was for the book to act as a catalyst for positive change, and with a foreword by Dr Andrew Weil, it had quite an impact in my community.

Since then, I have had the opportunity to work both editorially and commercially with numerous progressive organizations both locally and internationally, who are providing solutions for some of the world's most challenging problems.

I am honored to have photographed politicians, presidents, celebrities, entrepreneurs, musicians, artists, authors and healers, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Mayor of Vancouver Gregor Robertson, the President of Liberia Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Actress Goldie Hawn.

In addition to my photographic and multimedia work, I am an enthusiastic educator and presenter. I offer both local courses and global journeys. I was fortunate to learn from some of the best teachers, having worked over the years with The National Geographic Traveler Seminars, the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops and The Vancouver Photo Workshops.

I absolutely love what I do, and thrive on meeting new people and building community, discovering new perspectives, experiencing the energy of far-flung destinations, playing the drums and interviewing passionate individuals. I speak conversational French and am building on my Spanish skills.
