Jaime's 15-year career as a freelance photographer has taken her to 23 countries spanning six continents, providing travel and lifestyle imagery for commercial and editorial clients including The New York Times, Vogue Living Australia, Dwell, Wallpaper, Condé Nast Traveler and Palm Springs Life. She has photographed the last three Palm Springs Tourism campaigns promoting Palm Springs as a global hot spot. Her fine art is included in private collections around the globe.

She has photographed the Dalai Lama, worked for the Goldie Hawn Bright Light Foundation & Amnesty International and developed editorial content for a private foundation that supports development work in Liberia, where she met the country’s first female President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. She is equally comfortable photographing maternal health in rural Africa as she is photographing celebrities including Reese Witherspoon, Justin Timberlake, and Pete Yorn. 

She has been a guest speaker on photography and sustainability at distinguished events including the 2010 Pecha Kucha Night Vancouver to a sold out audience of 2200 people, the City of Vancouver Ideas Slam, and the Green Living Show, where she shared the main stage with Canada’s former Ambassador to the UN Stephen Lewis. She taught travel photography to students in the Himalayas on her global photography tour Bhutan: Land of the Thunder Dragon in 2008.

Her award-winning book Waking Up the West Coast: Healers and Visionaries, was a three-year project where she photographed and interviewed 118 experts throughout British Columbia, Canada in the categories of social responsibility, politics, education, arts, culture and health. New Society Publishers distributed Waking Up the West Coast in 2006 throughout North America. It won a Bronze Medal at the 2007 Independent Publisher's Awards, and was named a 2007 Nautilus Book Awards Finalist. The foreword was written by Dr Andrew Weil, named by Time Magazine as one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in the World.

Jaime was nominated as a '40 under 40' by Palm Springs Life Magazine in 2014 and featured on the cover of Thrive Magazine as a proponent of creativity in business in 2015.

Jaime currently lives in Palm Springs, CA where she shoots for clients both locally and in Los Angeles. She simultaneously applies her energy to a number of lifestyle and design-oriented projects including the boutique hotel property The Amado, Ernest Coffee and Bootlegger Tiki.
